TIME OFF REQUESTS
We understand that from time to time, you may not be able to work your scheduled shift.  It is your responsibility to find coverage for your shift and then get clearance from your manager.  Below are the steps to requesting a change in shift.
1.)  If you are unable to work your scheduled shift, you will find a replacement from the current staff in your home club.    You may not ask team members from other clubs to cover in your location as they may be on a different payroll system.
2.) Once you have coverage, you will confirm that this coverage is approved by your club manager.  Managers will always do their best to approve coverage but in some circumstances coverage will not be approved.  We build our schedule based on how best to serve our members.  We do this by trying to keep a balanced ratio of male to female team members on whenever possible so that it is always easy to get into locker rooms for cleaning or general member and staff safety.
3.) One advantage we try to provide to our team is a consistent shift which in retail and service is somewhat rare.  Many companies have schedules change week by week which makes it difficult  for you to plan your work around the rest of your responsibilities.  We want to keep your schedule constant so that you can plan your other responsibilities around your work schedule.  We expect the same from you.  If you are always trying to change your schedule, you are adding extra stress to your teammates and managers.
